Stephen Reuben, experienced Chief Executive of an award-winning housing organisation, Space New Living Ltd, has founded Change Development Solutions based on his significant experience in leading teams through times of major change.

Throughout his successful career, he drove a complete culture change. He has developed a unique model called ‘performance-managed empowerment’. Space has become a dynamic and customer/staff-focused organisation, where continuous learning and coaching go hand in hand. This resulted in significant growth in assets now worth over £140m, with increases in efficiency and profit.

Using this model, staff became clear about their role, objectives and boundaries, enabling outstanding customer service.

Space was the only housing company named in a list of the UK’s Top 100 visionary organisations, alongside blue-chip companies such as Sainsbury’s, IBM.com, WH Smith and Unipart. It has also won DTI’s Parent at Work and Excellence in Workforce Development.

Stephen has given presentations and workshops on ‘change management for success’ and strategy development to many organisations including the Institute of Directors, Chambers of Commerce, Business Link, Housing Organisations, National Housing Federation, Manchester Business School, University Of Central Lancashire, Institute Of Internal Auditors and Primary Schools teachers.

He has had articles published in regional, trade and national publications.

Stephen has had significant experience of non-executive roles within a number of organisations, including higher education and housing companies.
